Description

• Develop a strategy or similar, for the reduction of risk of birds nesting where they could affect progress
• Train Site Environment/ Ecology Teams in permissible measures that may be used to deter nesting activity.
• Provide input to the development of training aimed at machine operators and site teams aimed at raising awareness and bird risk reduction
• Brief on licencing and legal constraints relating to removal of nest materials, eggs & hatchlings
• Provide visiting bird control personnel who can work with the site environment/ecology team and brief the delivery team, undertaking removal of nest materials, when appropriate
• Provide, set up and service bird deterrent technology
• Undertake falconry, as a deterrent, if appropriate
