Description

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Services within Kent and Medway prisons - EOI to deliver some FCP / Physiotherapy sessions

KCHFT is subcontracted to provide a range of musculoskeletal (MSK) services across Kent and Medway prisons. These services have historically been provided by a number of different providers.
KCHFT will engage with a provider, to provide some of the required HCPC registered Physiotherapists and First Contact Physiotherapists, experienced in delivering care in secure settings to work alongside KCHFT clinicians, as part of the integrated MSK pathway.
The vision for this contract is to utilise system wide skills and expertise to deliver MSK Physiotherapy within Kent and Medway prisons.

The MSK model consists of:
First Contact Physiotherapy assessments
Physiotherapy Interventions
Orthopaedic outpatient clinics
Pain Management clinics
Pain multidisciplinary clinics

KCHFT will be delivering services within the following sites:
Standford Hill Prison - Sheppey
Elmley Prison - Sheppey
Swaleside Prison - Sheppey
East Sutton Park Prison - Maidstone
Maidstone Prison - Maidstone
Rochester Prison - Rochester

Expressions of interest should include details of:
Provider experience of service delivery within secure settings
Demonstrate appropriate knowledge of the operational requirements and management of risk and safety within secure settings
Indicate number of Physiotherapy sessions and / or FCP sessions that could potentially be offered at each location

Duration: 2yrs + extension option
Value: dependant on number of sessions delivered - based on B6 Physiotherapist for Physiotherapy interventions and B7 Physiotherapists for FCP sessions
