Description

Tender for Subscribed Garden Waste Permit Stickers and Printing Capability

Sandwell Borough Council subscribed garden waste collection service was approved by Cabinet in November 2022. The pilot scheme introduced March 2023 with approximately 40,000 subscribers who are identified from a sticker affixed to their 240L garden waste bin lid. Following the successful pilot scheme, the Council now intends to establish a three-year agreement for the period 7 February 2024 to 6 February 2027. The Council is now seeking to appoint a contractor who will be able to supply 130,000 stickers over a 3 - year period (Annual Profile: 40,000;44,000;46,000;).

The successful contractor will provide a product (stickers) and printing portal capability to integrate directly with the Councils Whitespace system, so new sticker requests are automatically received by the supplier on creation of a 'worksheet' in Whitespace. The portal should provide access for sticker requests to be reviewed retrospectively in case queries are raised by customers. This needs to be in place by February 2024.
