Description
Worcestershire Children First on behalf of Worcestershire County Council, is seeking a commissioned provider to:
o Integrate short breaks groups and activities within Ready Steady Worcestershire, creating a seamless join up between Holiday Activities and Food and Groups, Activities and Short Breaks from the perspective of families of children with special educational needs and disabilities, whilst maintaining separation of funding distribution and reporting.
o Administer and distribute Holiday Activities and Food funding and co-ordinate holiday activities and food for the Easter, summer, and Christmas holidays in 2024, and subject to the continuation of HAF funding by the DfE, in the subsequent two financial years, under the umbrella of Ready Steady Worcestershire (RSW).
o Administer and distribute groups, activities and short breaks funding to achieve a range of after school, evenings and weekends and school holidays clubs for children with disabilities for 2024/25 and for the following two financial years, under the umbrella of Ready Steady Worcestershire (RSW). Places should be made accessible for all children with disabilities. In addition to WCFs funding detailed in this specification, additional places can be funded via Direct Payments, parental contribution towards a subsidised place or privately paid for. Where WCF has assessed the family and identified there is a short break need, places for these young people should be made available.
