Description
Lewisham CCG and the London Borough of Lewisham are seeking expressions of interest for the re-commissioning mental health advocacy services. Advocacy support is offered to people (and/or carer) are experience substantial difficulty in:
• Understanding and or retaining information that has been given to them
• Using this information in making a decision about the mental health treatment and care; and or
• Communicating their wishes views and feelings (whether by talking, using sign language or any other means) about the treatment and care that they are receiving
The Integrated Advocacy Service that is being commissioned comprises of
• Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy
• Independent Mental Health Advocacy
• Care Act Advocacy
• General mental health Advocacy
The commissioning authority would welcome tenders from a single provider or a partnership between providers in delivering this Integrated Advocacy service
The tender will be run using the OJEU restricted procedure with the successful provider being awarded a contract for 3 years, with an option to extend for an additional two years.
