Description

Midland Metro Ltd (MML) requires a suitably experienced and qualified Provider that can deliver Rail Replacement Services, delivering rail replacement activities to 3 specified locations within a safety critical working environment. Our intention is to enter into a one-off procurement activity.
The appointed provider would be the Principal Contractor and be responsible for providing all required smalls materials, labour, materials movement and works delivery. The 3 locations of Rail Replacement are set out in Part One and Part Two in the Specification. MML reserve the right to award any, or a combination of all 3 locations, or whole, or none at all.
Midland Metro runs from Wolverhampton to Birmingham city centre along 21km with 18km of segregated track. The scope of works is split into two parts. Part 1 and 2:

Part One - Rail Replacement - Priestfield & Bilston Central:

A Site visit will take place 20th June 2023, with a 12 noon start and a 14:00 finish. Further information is included in the RFQ.
This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is being evaluated on the basis of Quality 40% / Price 60% and only those organisations that have responded satisfactorily to the Standard Selection Questionnaire will go on to have their tenders assessed.
Budget - There is no specific budget for this project, therefore MML will consider the best value proposals from bidders.
Please also complete the questionnaires in the Qualification envelope and confirm acceptance of the draft Terms and Conditions.
The closing date for submissions is 12.00 noon on 11th July 2023 and the deadline for any clarification questions is 12.00 noon on 4th July 2023.
