**Market Test**
BMSDC are approaching the market in order to see if there is interest from suppliers for Managing operator at South Suffolk Business Centre.
We are looking to build a tender model and we are seeking expression's of interest from suppliers.
The South Suffolk Business Centre is a business centre situated in Sudbury.
We are looking to propose in the future tender al 2 year contract with the option of 3 year contract extensions.
Business Centre owned by the Council.
The Council pay the Management Company an amount of £50,000.00 + VAT (s/t CPI increases) to cover the landlords' responsibilities - these include
collect the rents from the tenants, and the service charge and carry out the maintenance.
The Requirements of the operator for South Suffolk Business Centre are
To strengthen small business and encourage new businesses, helping develop economic activity within the area and diversify the local economy by providing independent, confidential, impartial business advice, training and access to finance.
To provide a high-quality managed workspace and supportive environment in which new and existing small businesses can grow and develop.
To play a significant role in encouraging enterprise and assisting with long term economic sustainability and growth, through the design, development and delivery of our products and services.
Provision of meeting space and virtual tenancy services designed to support small and growing businesses.
There is a management fee, occupancy is currently at 70%. which is what the new operator would be needed to agree to.
We are are at this stage looking to review the market and gain a list of suppliers we will be able to inform of the ITT being published.
