Description

The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) covers the six counties which make up the East of England - Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk and provides a range of services, but is best known for the 999 Emergency service.

EEAST employs a specialist Driver Training Unit that is looking to supplement with additional qualified external trainers.

Driver training includes the use of ambulances and rapid response cars and student needs depend on whether the students are Emergency Care Assistants, Paramedics or Technicians operating on A&E response vehicles or patient transport services.

EEAST has an immediate and urgent requirement for qualified tutors.

Qualified tutors must have:
*IHCD D1 & D2 Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Certificate in Emergency Driving OR L3CERAD OR a suitable equivalent.
*IHCD Driving Tutor Qualification OR L4CERADI and CAVA OR a suitable equivalent.
