Description
Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking to invite tenders for temporary works to surround elevations of the original Town Hall in Ashton-Under-Lyne.
The rear faces of the old town hall are to be provided with a single width, independent yet physically laterally tied scaffolding to give access for general repairs over 7 lifts, each 2m high, by 80m (nominal) in length, over the area shown on the plan marked red. This will also provide a visual screen of the old building from the newly completed building opposite.
