Description
The Council is looking to procure the services of a consultancy firm to work with the Biodiversity & Greenspaces Team to carry out an audit of their biodiversity assets and then use this to inform the preparation, and production of a full biodiversity strategy for the council, that will be presented for adoption by Council members during Autumn 2023.
The contract will be split between an intensive period of up to three months; carrying out site surveys, the audit and creating and drafting the strategy by Autumn 2023. The month of August will be to review, amend, finalise and sign off the strategy prior to it being presented to Council members in 2023.
The strategy will be a key document for delivering against our Climate Change and Environment Strategy.
