The London Borough of Croydon invites suitable expressions of interest to Providers of Community Choice and Active Lives
Provider Engagement Meeting, Monday 17th June 2019
Morning session: 10.00- 12.00 / Afternoon session: 14.00 - 16.00
Venue: Central Croydon (a 15 minute walk from East Croydon Station)
Croydon Council would like to invite you to attend a meeting of Domiciliary Care, Outreach and Day Care Centre providers. The purpose of the meeting is to update you on some of the major changes that are taking place in the commissioning and procurement of our services and to ensure that your organisation receives clarification on how they will impact on what you do, the future contracting opportunities and how we do business together in the future.
The meeting will include a briefing on the proposed introduction of a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS 1) for Community Choice and Active Lives and consultation on the new Service Specification. You will have the opportunity to participate on the development of the new service specification for the following services:
Domiciliary Care
To provide Domiciliary Care and/or Reablement within the community for both personal and practical support where required enabling people to remain in their own home whilst promoting independence and maintaining quality of life.
Outreach.
Giving time limited support to assist working age adults and or older people develop the skills and confidence to live in their communities and access local resources to help them achieve this.
Day Opportunities and Day Centres - Active Lives
Supporting working age adults and older people in accessing a range of community based activities and or buildings based day and or evening sessions to improve the quality of life and promote independence
This market engagement activity does not constitute a call for competition to procure any services, supplies or works for the Council and the Council is not bound to accept any proposals offered.
The Council is not liable for any costs, fees or expenses incurred by any party participating in this exercise. Any procurement of any services, supplies or works by the Council in due course will be carried out strictly in accordance with the provisions in the UK and EU Procurement Regulations.

Due to room capacity we can only permit maximum 2 delegates per organisation.
