Description

Broadacres Housing Association (BHA) currently has a varied ICT infrastructure, consisting mainly of HP hardware components. Some is no longer under support (due to equipment age) and requires refresh. The association implemented a virtualised infrastructure over 7 years ago based on a VMware/SAN platform and it is anticipated that such an approach will continue to leverage the software investment already made.
The infrastructure refresh consists of a number of projects that will be tendered as a whole piece of work. It is anticipated that the individual projects will be delivered and invoiced for along an agreed timeline.
Bidders are expected to detail the most cost effective licensing model that can be used with the equipment specified. There is no expectation that bidders will provide quotes for licenses.
Full documentation regarding the installation and implementation of the solution must be provided.
Bidders must detail the end to end project management of the installation, implementation and commissioning of the proposed infrastructure solution.
It is expected that a complete project plan and structured approach is applied to the implementation of the solution.
Any resources required from BHA or third party must be identified in the project plan and any associated costs detailed.
Quality assurance processes to ensure production readiness of the environment are to be clearly outlined.
