Description

West Lancashire Borough Council (the Council) is seeking to expressions of interest for an experienced and suitably qualified Contractor to rebuild five pedestrian bridges in Tawd Valley Park, Skelmersdale.

The five bridges have been surveyed and designs proposed to improve their structures and longevity.

The Council is looking for expressions of interest from potential Contractors to give an indication of the budget cost for this opportunity together with an overview of the technical capabilities and experience of managing similar projects.

The contractor will produce and install structural steel works to the bridges as outlined in the attached document and replace bridge decking with 70mm thick CTS Hi Grip hardwood deck boards, pre-treated with an anti-slip surface.

Site visits are to be carried out at 10.00am on 25/10/19 and 10.00am on 1/11/19. Meeting point - turning circle at end of Summer Street, Skelmersdale, WN8 6ST. Site visits must be booked in advance by providing your contact name, company name, telephone and email address on The Chest messaging system.
