Description

Wakefield and District Housing Limited invites tenders for work to Wellgate, Glasshoughton, Castleford, WF10 4DL.

These works are split into phase 1 and phase 2. One contractor will be awarded both phases.

Phase 1 will need to complete by 06/03/2018 and start 10/09/2018, Phase 2 will need to start thereafter to an estimated maximum 25 weeks.

The work comprises of preparatory works including ground levelling and excavation (soft and hard), shrub and tree removal and associated waste management from site. Timber fencing at 1m and 1.8m high with accompanying gates; paving, edging and surface matching and making good, pedestrian and vehicular asphalt; steps, hand rails and retaining walls; associated drainage and soft landscaping. In accordance with the drawings, contract documentation and schedule provided.

Phase 1 - 16No Properties to be complete in advance of 06/03/2019 latest date. All monies to be claimed and paid or accrued in the financial year 2018/19.

Phase 2 - 14No Properties.

All rates must be inclusive of plant, materials, labour, preliminaries and costs associated to undertake work to the scheme.

You are expected to cost using appendix 3 (Phase 1 / Phase 2 Wellgate Appendix 3 Schedule of Rates BOQ), and provide further information where requested so that a full and clear breakdown is provided. Please ensure that a programme is attached and submitted of how to achieve this forecast. You are expected to also submit all items stated in this invitation.
