Description

County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust have a requirement for digital
waiting list validation software. Such software is an effective tool used in tackling the
backlog for elective care caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. As enshrined in the NHS
constitution the aim is for an 18-week maximum waiting time. Waiting list validation
systems work by establishing, ahead of an appointment being offered, if the patient
actually still requires it.
