Description

The aim of this research project is to prepare and deliver the 2019 Enhanced Annual Implementation Report (EAIR) for the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) 2014-2020 in accordance with Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 808/2014 , Annex VII for the application of Regulation (EU) No 1305/2013 on support for rural development by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), and supporting European Evaluation Helpdesk Guidelines .

The information to be reported in 2019 will cover the years 2014-2018 and should inform Defra (the Managing Authority) about progress in delivering the programme, key achievements and resulting impacts from meeting the objectives of RDPE, and its contributions to the EU strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth.

It should help to contribute to the objectives of Defra's Single Departmental Plan by providing lessons about the delivery of RDPE and informing Defra's future policy frameworks being designed to replace the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).

This project's outputs will need to be delivered by 31 May 2019.
