Description
Wychavon District Council is seeking tenders from substantial and experienced contractors to construct an Extension to Evesham Leisure Centre in Evesham (WR11 4SU) with a combined area of 570m2 and associated external works to reconfigure existing overflow car park and provide additional car park area to site, including drainage, CCTV and lighting. The works will be in accordance with the submitted planning application which is expected to be determined by Planning Committee in December 2017 (ref No. 17/01952/DW3), the approved specifications, room data sheets and requirements provided by the Client's design team. The contact period is fixed with a practical completion being required by the 30th November 2018, to enable the operator of the leisure centre (Wychavon Leisure Community Association Limited) to fully open the facility on the 2nd January 2019. The existing leisure centre will remain operational throughout the period of construction. This project will use a JCT Design and Build (2011) contract with amendments.
