Description
Please note this is not a call for competition. This is a PIN notice for a UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) requirement.
UKRI are seeking a Delivery Partner. UKRI wish to commission an analysis of the responses to the UKRI EDI Strategy public consultation.
Background
UKRI has announced a consultation on the organisation's draft Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Strategy.
The EDI strategy sets out UKRI's ambition for an inclusive research and innovation system and our long-term commitment to achieving this aim. The development of the strategy has been driven by wide-ranging engagement, discussion, and challenge from a wide variety of individuals and organisations with UKRI and its Councils.
Impact of this commission
The consultation is an essential component of the development of UKRI's EDI Strategy. The draft EDI Strategy does not attempt to set out in detail all the actions we will take to bring about change. It is a framework that anchors and supports EDI action plans across UKRI. The input to this consultation will inform the development of these plans.
Scope of the future procurement
The purpose of this procurement requirement is to analyse all the responses to the UKRI EDI Strategy public consultation and report the outcomes to UKRI.
The analysis needs to be comprehensive and impartial, giving consideration to all responses and ensure the outcome is structured in a useful and meaningful sense. The analysis needs to draw out evidence, issues and views raised and to provide themes / groupings. Whilst the consultation does not request evidence to be provided, there is an opportunity for stakeholders to provide supplementary information / evidence via an email. The chosen Delivery Partner must be able to assess and analyse this variety of outputs using mixed capture methods.
Objectives of Future Procurement Requirement
UKRI seeks to commission a Delivery Partner to
• conduct an objective and comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analysis of all responses to the consultation (N.B. the Delivery Partner will need to present clear methodologies within their bid of how they will do this and provide a series of prices for the contract, depending on the eventual number of responses.)
• generate a coding process / methodology approach that can be used to catalogue each response from the consultation
• associated meta data e.g. for specific themes, including the frequency and categories of responses expressing those views.
• communicate the outcomes of the analysis via slide decks, written reports and meetings (N.B. it is important that when summarising outputs that the richness of the response data is captured).
This contract is expected to run until 31/12/2022.
Anticipated Maximum budget for this future requirement is £70K excluding VAT.
