Description

The West Midlands Growth Company (WMGC) has a requirement to establish an agreement with a sole supplier to provide specialist marketing and lead generation support for the requirements included in the scope of this tender process.

With strong economic fundamentals in place, the West Midlands has a unique opportunity to cement itself as truly globally competitive in the coming years. Global West Midlands - the West Midlands Growth Company's business plan for July 23 - March 25 - sets out how we propose to utilise our key functional areas of inward investment, capital attraction, the visitor economy and strategic relationship management to address regional challenges and capitalise on our opportunities, delivering the Plan for Growth and levelling up the region, and shares that the strategic objectives for the visitor economy through the Global West Midlands programme are to:
o Enhance the profile & reputation of the region
o Create & sustain vibrant destinations

The appointed supplier for this contract will be our strategic partner in creating and delivering a marketing campaign to build and develop awareness of our Business Events product across the West Midlands (not just Birmingham). The key indicators of success will be increased awareness of the region's offer, venues and destinations, resulting in an increased number of leads and enquiries for venue and events spaces through our business tourism (Convention Bureau) team.
