Description
Prospective operators are invited to submit a bid for a licence(s) to provide ice-creams and hot/cold food mobile food catering for the framework agreement for the Provision of Mobile Catering Services in Birmingham Parks (remaining pitches). (please note: mobile catering operations for all sites will be considered (however non-alcoholic drinks only will be permitted).
Bids may be submitted for one, multiple or all of the available pitches.
The framework agreement(s) will be awarded to one supplier per pitch. Please note - at the Council's discretion direct awards can / maybe provided where deemed appropriate, even if multiple bids received for the same pitches.
Each pitch will have an operating licence granted for a period of 4 years.
Prospective operators MUST be registered with their Local Authority as a food business (and may be asked to provide evidence of this if requested by Birmingham City Council) and will be expected to meet all Food Safety requirements as laid out in Food Safety and Hygiene (England) Regulations 2013 and the Food Information Regulations 2014.
It should also be noted that all mobile food operators MUST have a rating of 4 or 5 under the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme, to be able to provide a submission.
Sub-licencing of the operating licence(s) granted is expressly prohibited.
