Description
Leicester City Council, working with Leicestershire County Council ('the Councils') invite Tenders for the provision of the removal, transportation and storage of cadavers on behalf of the HM Coroners.
The Councils, through this procurement exercise, are seeking to enter into a Framework with a multiple Suppliers for each Lot, as follows:
Rutland & North Leicestershire Coroner's Jurisdiction
• Lot 1 -North West Leicestershire District
• Lot 2 - Charnwood Borough
• Lot 3 - Melton Borough
• Lot 4 - Rutland County
• Lot 5 - Harborough District
Leicester & South Leicestershire Coroner's Jurisdiction
• Lot 6 - Blaby District
• Lot 7 - Hinckley & Bosworth Borough
• Lot 8 - Oadby & Wigston
• Lot 9 - Leicester City
There would be no limit as to how may suppliers would be admitted onto each lot. The framework would operate on a rota basis within each lot, with the suppliers receiving a set fee for the services.
Estimated value for information only, due to the nature of requirement, exact values may vary.
The proposed Framework will be for two years, with an option to extend for a period or periods totalling no more than a further two years. The maximum permitted term will be 4 years.
