Description

The requirement is for a deployable long range air defence radar system for operational use worldwide that is able to detect both co-operative and non-cooperative targets in the UK and overseas.

The successful Contractor will supply:
-One self-sustaining air defence radar system, delivered to a location to be confirmed, by 31st December 2019;
-In service 3rd and 4th line support, commencing at acceptance, to achieve 95% availability throughout the contract;
-Spares to achieve 95% availability throughout the contract, including a deployable spares pack;
-Operator and technician training;
-Operator and technical documentation.

The contract will be for two years and six months, commencing 01/10/18 and ending 31/03/20.
