Description
The Education and Skills Funding Agency requires a suitably experienced Contractor to express their interest to tender for the construction of a mixed new build/refurbishment development on Cambridge Grove, West London Free School Primary, W6 0LB.
The Contractor will be procured on a full design and build basis for the following works:
• Demolition of the schools existing hall and a larger new build hall provided
• New build art studio
• New plant room
• Minor refurbishment of the caretakers house
• Minor refurbishment of current admin space to provide breakout areas
• Four additional toilets
• Upgrade drainage and electrical systems on site.
New build: 914m2, Refurb: 228m2. Total:1142m2
The target construction programme runs from March 2019 to March 2020.
The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement, and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the following split: quantitative assessment (60%) / qualitative assessment (40%).
