Description
Structure 0676 Upholland Road Retaining Wall, retains the B5206 Upholland Road above farm land. The wall has an average height of 1.35m and is 261m long and is comprised of drystone masonry.
The rehabilitation/refurbishment works are concerned with a 170m length of the wall and are comprised of the following works:
• Reduction in height of the existing wall to allow the installation of a reinforced concrete capping beam and pedestrian guardrail;
• Vegetation removal to base of wall including removal of mature tree stumps from face of wall;
• Re-grading land to base of wall;
• Localised reconstruction of wall sections
