Description
Derbyshire County Councils and Derby City Councils are seeking a WEEE Producer Compliance Scheme partner to handle the collection, treatment and disposal of WEEE from DCF's in the city and county with effect from 1 April 2019. The purpose of this tender exercise is to provide free collection, treatment and environmentally sound disposal of WEEE from ten local authority Household Waste Recycling Centres and four waste transfer loading stations in the city and county designated as DCF's during the Contract Period. The appointed PCS partner must comply with the WEEE Regulations 2013 and BIS "The Code of Practice" (March 2014) as amended and any amendments or revisions to these regulations made during the Contract Period.
