Brief Description of Requirement
UK Shared Business Services Limited (UK SBS) on behalf of the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) invite you to this Request for Proposal for subscription services for market insight relating to the power sector.
UK SBS is managing this procurement process in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as may be amended from time to time) (the "Regulations").
This is a Services Contract being procured under the Open Procedure.
Introduction
The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) is responsible for ensuring that the UK has energy supplies that are reliable, affordable and clean. To ensure DESNZ has sufficient market insight to support these responsibilities, DESNZ procures a range of external market data, insights and briefings for the energy sector to inform what the market outlook is, how the sector will respond to change, and to provide assurance and additional evidence to support assumptions setting within our business-critical models.
In this context, DESNZ is looking to procure a subscription, starting in April 2024, to provide regular reports on trends in the electricity supply, commodities and hydrogen sectors in GB and Europe. Expected outputs would be a combination of regular publications, briefings, newsletters, statistical publications, datasets and models provided by email or available on a provider's website.
These services will ensure that DESNZ has regular market insight on the power, gas and hydrogen sectors to support decision making and feed into business-critical models.
