Description

Introduction

Milton Keynes City Council plan for 2022- 2026 includes increasing support to unpaid carers. To deliver on this and ensure compliance with Care Act 2014. Social Care Commissioning has been consulting with carers to improve the offer to unpaid carers. One of the gaps identified during the consultation was lack of support to working carers who are typical less available to access Carers MK.

Purpose

The Digital (18+) Carers Support Service ''the service'' will provide support online to carers. The support provided will include:
- Information, Advice and Guidance
- Peer support
- Signposting
- Themed workshops
