Description

The Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust is a vibrant general hospital providing acute hospital services to the people of Ipswich and East Suffolk, with a catchment population of approximately 390,000. The Services provided includes A&E, critical care and emergency assessment and treatment; planned medical and surgical care covering a wide range of conditions; consultant and midwife-led maternity and neo-natal and paediatric care; and diagnostic and therapy services. The Trust also provide a range of specialised services including spinal surgery, radiotherapy and gynaecological cancer surgery to a wider catchment of more than 500,000.

The Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust intends to undertake a procurement process to secure Renal Dialysis services within 2016/17, which will include in centre haemodialysis (ICHD), taking place in main or satellite dialysis units, peritoneal dialysis (PD) and home haemodialysis (HHD).

This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is being released to the market to allow interested parties the opportunity to comment on the documentation being made available. Documentation is freely available within the following e-procurement portal:

Please note that The Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust will be working with representatives from West Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group and utilising their procurement portal for the PIN and any subsequent procurement process. In order to review the documentation you will need to register on the in-tend procurement portal and express an interest in the Renal Dialysis Project which can be found on the current tenders tab, this will in turn release the documentation for download.
