Description
The HIA service helps vulnerable people to maintain their independence, health, and well-being in their chosenhome for the foreseeable future. The contract is funded through OCC, South Oxfordshire District Council(SODC) and Vale of White Horse District Council (VWHDC).
The service is made up of the following main elements:
- general advice and information,
- co-ordination, supervision and support,
- home safety assessment and falls reduction,
- repairs and improvements,
- major and minor adaptions,
- small repairs,
- hospital discharge service.
