Description

Bedford Borough Council ('the Council') has received government funding to deliver childcare and support provision for children and young people in the Borough who are aged 5-17, are a resident of Bedford Borough and who are eligible for Free School Meals (FSMs).

The Council wishes to commission a number of local organisations to join an Approved Provider List (APL), which will deliver a programme of face-to-face activities and healthy meals for vulnerable children over any school holidays.

Suppliers wishing to be accepted onto the APL should be experienced in delivering face-to-face, fun, enriching activities to children and young people. It would be helpful for Suppliers to have existing provision in place that can be expanded upon to deliver against the outcomes specified (Lot 1), but the Council will consider proposals of bespoke schemes if these meet the required criteria (Lot 2).
