Description
The Corporate Officer of the House of Lords and the Corporate Officer of the House of Commons (the Authority) requires a single supplier who can provide a wide range of chilled dairy and associated products in catering, retail and individual portion sizes.
The House of Lords is funded by the taxpayer and as such value for money matters.
Our catering services meet the needs of a working Houses of Parliament and are used by a wide number of people, such as visitors, staff, journalists, police officers and not just members.
Tenders are required to ensure fair and open competition in the source of supply, and so this process will enable suppliers, including SMEs, to compete fairly for the award of the contract. Both the House of Lords and House of Commons routinely review their prices, adjusting when necessary, to ensure value for money to the taxpayer
