Description
The Provision of "Smart" Street Litter Bins.
Worcester City Council is inviting Tenders from potential suppliers for the provision, installation, servicing, maintenance and telemetry data support for 16 solar powered "Smart" street litter bins.
The Council intends to enter into a 5 year contract for the outright purchase, delivery, installation, servicing, maintenance and telemetry data support for 16 solar powered "Smart" street litter bins. The Council also requires the option to purchase a further 12 units, of either compacting or non compacting type, within a 12 month period from the contract award date at the same quoted price and terms as the initial 16 units.
Should operational needs arise, The Council reserves the right to purchase up to 4 further units that may be subject to price negotiation.
The Council reserves the right not to accept any of the Tenders received.

The Council are using the e-procurement portal known as the Due North Pro-Contract portal https://procontract.due-north.com to conduct this procurement exercise.
To gain access to the procurement documents, contractors will need to register their company details at the above website. Once registered, contractors will be emailed a log-in and password which will allow them to gain access to the procurement documents. Contractors will need to search for the invitation under Worcester City Council and then electronically submit an expression of interest and follow the online instructions to view the procurement documents.
