Description
The Works comprise: Repairs to Various Dams and Watercourses, mainly grouting with some structural repairs. The ascertainment and injection of the volume of grout necessary to fill all voids required to seal the indicated leaks Repairs to footpaths adjacent Dams and Watercourses. Leakproofing existing metal Outfalls, provision of new Debris Screens. Forming any means of access required to the site(s) for the Plant, Labour and Materials to carry out the Works, removal and making good / reinstatement on completion. The Contractor shall notify the appropriate Authority that he is working in proximity to their Dams and / or Watercourses and comply with all of their requirements and shall allow for all associated costs. The Contractor shall apply for any Road / Footpath Closures he deems necessary to carry out the Works, provide adequately signposted diversions, routes to be agreed with the Architect/Contract Administrator and shall allow for all associated costs. The production of a Programme, to be agreed and approved by the Architect/Contract Administrator, to carry out the Works in the Order of Priority as indicated hereinafter, see Section 3 - Specification. The Contractor shall make allowance in his Programme for concurrent working to ensure the Works are completed by the stipulated Date for Completion.
