Description

Public Health Division is inviting organisations, separately or as part of a partnership consortium / consortia) to provide information to citizens who have existing health conditions to enable them to:
o understand their perspectives of COVID-19,
o help them access support to better manage their health conditions and reduce risk,
o provide networks for early awareness and intervention if there are increased concerns around subsequent waves of COVID-19.

Successful applicants will ensure appropriate messages are shared with citizens through innovative approaches both through non-digital and digital platforms, particularly during an outbreak of COVID-19. The provider(s) will be required to have relevant information translated into appropriate community languages, linking to the other community-based services. It is important to the success of the project that providers work together to ensure that messages can be shared with citizens from relevant communities with information translated into appropriate community languages and shared through trusted community-based providers. Providers will also be expected to actively support the Birmingham City Council Public Health BHealthy campaign.

Specific Groups to prevent people catching COVID-19, responses and Test and Trace messages:

Lot C: High Blood Pressure
Lot D: Chronic Kidney Disease
Lot E: COPD
Lot F: Obese - BMI over 30
Lot G: Cardiovascular Disease (CVD)
