Description
NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU (AG CSU) on behalf of NHS England & NHS Improvement Midlands - Shropshire and Staffordshire (here onwards known as the Commissioner) is inviting stakeholders to participate in a Market Assessment Questionnaire relating to the procurement for Intermediate Minor Oral Surgery (IMOS) including treatment under Conscious Sedation for Shropshire and Staffordshire.
Currently there are multiple providers of Tier 2 IMOS in Shropshire and no dedicated IMOS service in Staffordshire as it is currently provided as part of the secondary care services delivered by Acute Trusts.
The Commissioner is seeking market input for making informed decisions regarding the procurement and for developing relevant documents in accordance with those decisions. Before publishing a formal procurement opportunity the Commissioner would like to invite interested stakeholders to provide feedback to help inform their Commissioning intentions going forward via a questionnaire.

These opportunities when advertised will be open to the entire market, including the current providers. It is intended that the tender will be published late November/early December 2019. The services must be operational on the expected service commencement date of 1st July 2020.

An expression of interest within this Market Assessment Exercise will not automatically entitle involvement in any future procurement exercise. The subsequent procurement will be advertised separately and all organisations wanting to participate will need to respond to the procurement advertisement when published.
The Commissioner may hold 1:1's with providers on Tuesday 1st October, Wednesday 2nd October and Thursday 3rd October. if you are interested in attending a 1:1 with the Commissioner please ensure you respond to question 30 within the questionnaire.
