The existing cooling infrastructure consists of 2no Baltimore cooling towers located on the roof, 2no McQuay chillers and associated condense and chilled water pumps within the Basement (B2) plant areas. One chiller and a number of pumps are already out of service.

The Vision:

The project shall include for the replacement of the cooling towers, chillers, associated condense and chilled water primary and secondary pumps, associated equipment pipework and valves and the associated motor control panel. The installation shall be connected to the new Trend BMS currently being installed which replaces the original pneumatic controls system. The system shall be fully commissioned.

The project shall also include for all builders' work (plant bases etc) and also make good, seal and painting of the plant room floors (blue) and walls (white) to leave the spaces in an acceptable operational standard. Provision of appropriate health and safety signage shall also be provided.
