Description

Birmingham City Council is seeking to promote regeneration throughout the City and to promote not only the economic but also social and environmental wellbeing of its area. As part of this process interested parties are invited to submit their bids for Recreational and Leisure Activities in Selected Parks across Birmingham. The City Council wishes to engage with experienced organisations or individuals with the relevant and appropriate experience to submit business plans and ideas to generate income from the identified parks. Bids may be submitted for one, multiple or all of the available selected parks.

The concession contracts will be awarded to one supplier per park.
The contracts will commence in January 2022 for a period of 5 years. Sub-licencing of the concession contracts granted is expressly prohibited.

Proposals for commercial recreational and leisure activity opportunities will be considered against park (site) suitability. However, the Council will not be considering Open Air Cinema, mobile catering and static catering proposals as part of this tender process - these opportunities are captured as part of separate tender exercises.

The Council will be using its free to use e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and potential suppliers must register with the system to be able to express an interest. If you wish to express an interest in this opportunity please click on the following link to access https://in-tendhost.co.uk/birminghamcc/ and submit your details to register. You will then be sent details on how to log on which will enable you to download all relevant Invitation to Tender (ITT) documentation.

If you are unable to register with In-tend or have any questions or problems on how to use this web site please either email us at: cps@birmingham.gov.uk or call CPS Helpdesk on 0121 464 8000.

Your completed tender submission should be returned by noon on 24th November 2021 via the 'in-tend' system https://in-tendhost.co.uk/birminghamcc
