Description
Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council invites quotations for the provision of Mental Health Awareness Training. Introduction and Context The service provider will be required to deliver Mental Health Awareness learning and development blended activity that achieves the aim of ensuring senior managers and managers are knowledgeable in recognising and acting on mental health in the workplace. Managers will be enabled to achieve the following learning outcomes: Understand what a person's mental health is and define commonly held perceptions on mental health Appreciate why is mental health important and how links to their organisational/service objectives The moral and legal requirements to look after their employees mental health Recognise the current situation within their organisation and consider strategic implications Spot the signs of common mental health conditions within individuals and across the organisation as a whole Recognise that mental health affects both work and home life Know how to creating a positive and supportive workplace environment Encouraged to be a catalyst to create a better culture for positive mental health Understand resilient employees and resilient behaviours within their organisation support positive mental health Understand and know how to look after their own mental health Create a 'stop, start, continue' action plan to make start making direct improvements for staff in your service Please note, as the delivery is across two levels of management, the outcomes above will need to be adapted slightly to the audience.
