Description

The service will be co-located within the Looked After Children (LAC) and Care Leaving Service which is part of Children's Safeguarding and Social Work. The mediation and reparation services will be provided to children between the age of 13 and 15 who are at risk of being excluded from the family home, homeless young people aged 16 and 17 and young people in the Young People's Pathway whose placement are at risk of breaking down. Services will also be available to young people up to the age of 25 where appropriate. The tender process will be similar to an Open Procedure. The Services come under Chapter 3, Section 7 (Social and Other Specific Services) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Under Regulation 76 the Authority may determine the procedure to be applied in connection with the award of the Contracts.

The contract will be for the duration of three years with the option to extend for a further 2 years at the sole discretion of the Council.
