Description

Birmingham City Council (the Council) is seeking to commission an experienced arts & health evaluator to produce an impact study and recommendations following on from cultural sector commissioning as part of the Adult Social Care Prevention and Communities.

Further Prevention and Communities funding is being sought to support future commissioned services in building on existing activity and to tailor activity to resident need. This piece of work will inform the commissioning of services from 2021, particularly in light of activity adaptation throughout the pandemic.

Birmingham City Council will be the commissioner for this work. The successful candidate will work through the Arts & Health Culture Officer lead and the wider Arts & Health working group which consists of key representatives from both the cultural and health/social care sectors.

The successful provider will focus on undertaking the following activities:

o Desktop review of existing commissioned activity
o Consultation and engagement with relevant stakeholders
o Consultation and feedback with service users / clients
o Consultation and feedback from Internal council officers
o Data evaluation including collating recommendations for future commissioning of activities
o Impact study and report writing

This piece of work is to be delivered by the end of 31 March 2021 with attendance at the Arts & Health working group Microsoft Teams meetings which will be held in Feb / March 2021 (TBC) to provide updates and report on progress. A final impact study written report with recommendations will be presented to the Arts & Health working group mid-March 2021.
