Description

The Corn Exchange is an 19th Century, Grade II listed building owned and operated by Medway Council. It hosts functions and meetings in its large Queen's Hall function room and other areas. During a recent inspection of the steel escape stairs to the rear of the building, it was noted that the stairs had suffered neglect and were in need of total replacement to ensure the building can continue to operate safely. The purpose of this procurement exercise is to award a contract for the supply of 2 x steel emergency escape staircases to ensure the building can continue to operate safely.
