Description

The aim of the business workshops is to facilitate discussion, collaboration and momentum behind the creation local Nature Business Benefit Cycle (NBBC) themed products.
PROWAD-LINK is an Interreg North Sea Region project funded by the European Regional Development Fund with local funding from Norfolk County Council.
The wider project includes the UNESCO Wadden Sea World Heritage site, the UNESCO Geiranger Fjord World Heritage site and the Wash & North Norfolk Coast. The beautiful wild places can be powerful and inspiring brands for innovation and sustainable development. Yet, barriers exist preventing its full use, especially for local SME s.

The main aims of the project are based around 'Protect and Prosper': ensuring that the beautiful natural environment which makes the Wash and North Norfolk coast special continues to be protected whilst also enabling economic opportunities and prosperity to the local people and businesses who have made the area their home. When both business and nature benefit from one another this is referred to as a Nature Business Benefit Cycle (NBBC).

Further information on the broad PROWAD-LINK project can be found in the quote document

Funding will not be affected by Brexit as the European funding has been secured.
