All tender information MUST be submitted through the Delta eSourcing Portal.
Brief Description of Requirement:
The Contracts for Difference (CfD) scheme is the government's main mechanism for supporting new renewable electricity generation projects in Great Britain. Contracts are awarded in a series of competitive auctions. The next auction will be the 4th and referred to as Allocation Round 4 (AR4). This will be held in late 2021 and be open to low carbon electricity generating projects deploying established and less well-established technologies.
Applicants with projects that have a capacity of 300MW or more wishing to enter a CfD Allocation Round require a Supply Chain Plan approved by the Secretary of State for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). The government is currently consulting on proposals for a new Supply Chain Plan questionnaire for CfD Applicants to complete. The questionnaire will form the basis of the initial assessment before an allocation round and ongoing monitoring, review, and assessment after a CfD contract has been awarded.
BEIS is seeking to use external independent expertise as part of a highly rigorous exercise to undertake the initial assessment of Applicant's Supply Chain Plans that are submitted as part of the 4th CfD Allocation Round and advise BEIS on whether a Supply Chain Plan should "pass" or "fail" the assessment.
Please ensure you review all attached information to ensure a full understanding of this requirement. All attachments can be found with the Document Uploads tab within the Delta eSourcing Portal.
This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria as set out in the ITQ document.
