Description

Birmingham City Council are inviting tenderers for the provision of a commercial Bus Operator Service to; operate, manage, maintain and service a fleet of hydrogen buses which will be leased to the Bus Operator by the Council.

The contract will last 7 years (unless terminated under the terms and conditions of the contract).

In addition to the contract the successful supplier will be required to sign a Lease Agreement for the Hydrogen Buses. The lease period will be 7 years and begin with the delivery of the hydrogen buses in March 2019.

BCC will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest. The web address is: https://in-tendhost.co.uk/birminghamcc
