Description
Newcastle University has several Research Tissue Banks with samples stored within multiple ultra-low temperature freezers (-80°C). These samples are stored in accordance with the Human Tissue Act 2004 (HTA). To ensure compliance with HTA requirements the University wishes to engage with an experienced and fully accredited supplier to provide preventative maintenance and repair services for the ultra-low temperature freezers.The contract length will be 12 months in the first instance. After this period the contract may also be further extended for 3x 12 months periods. Contract extensions shall be mutually agreed by the successful supplier and the University.
