Description
Serious and Violent Crime Behaviour Change Programme
Wigan Council is looking to commission a ten-month project to explore key themes regarding serious and violent crime to include:
1. Hate Crime;
2. Bullying;
3. Exploitation;
4. Violence.
A provider is sought to provide both Virtual Reality content and taught input to 23 Secondary Schools at Year 8 level and 7 other educational settings (that are identified by Wigan Council/LEA) over 10 months. Classroom delivery will take place between March 2020 and July 2020 and as defined by the programme's delivery plan.
Scrutiny and clinical supervision regarding filmed material is required by accredited safeguarding professionals who specialise in working with young people and applying safeguarding practice as directed by legislation.
Consultation, engagement and co-production of filmed content is required based on the successful party's experience of developing industry / market leading user generated content for social intervention and behaviour change programmes.
The provider must be able to demonstrate experience of delivering social content safely and effectively to vulnerable people at pace and scale.
The service will also provide a learning assessment model approach based on effective evaluation methodologies to enable accurate testing of the impact of perception and behaviour change. Analysis of data generated from individual responses to the programme is required as part of the services provided.
This programme needs to be delivered by the end of July 2020.
