Description

Birmingham City Council, on behalf of Birmingham Community Safety Partnership (BCSP), wishes to support the aims of the project which are to create strong, inclusive and resilient communities, where everyone can access the support and services they need and is able to exercise their rights. It aims to support Eastern European migrants who need help integrated into their communities. It also aims to facilitate the connecting of communities in Birmingham, to have a better understanding of each and a comprehension of the different faiths and cultures and to specifically provide a better start for Eastern European communities. Therefore we invite tenders from Providers who strive for excellence in designing, delivering and evaluating Projects which lead to greater community cohesion.

The successful provider will be required to design and deliver a bespoke programme which will create strong and inclusive, resilient communities. In particular the provider will:

o Deliver a range of services which support migrants to live in a safe and welcoming cohesive community.
o Support migrants to be able to look after and improve their own health and wellbeing
o Ensure existing communities are aware of the needs of migrant communities and fully integrate into community life.
o Provide mentoring support to vulnerable adults and young people at risk of, or involved in crime, modern slavery or criminal exploitation.

This contract will be for a period of one year commencing 2nd March 2020.
