Description
NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU (AGCSU) on behalf of NHS England Midlands & East (Central Midlands) and NHS Leicester City CCG (LC CCG) (referred to as the Commissioners) is inviting suitably qualified and experienced Providers to deliver the Services.
Any contract arising from this procurement will be between the successful Provider and NHS England (National Health Service Commissioning Board) and NHS Leicester City CCG as delegated commissioners on behalf of NHS England.
The Provider must provide all essential, additional enhanced services to all patients registered with the practice at the point of commencement.
The successful Bidder that meets the technical and financial requirements for NHS England Midlands & East (Central Midlands) and LC CCG will be awarded an Alternative Provider of Medical Services (APMS) contract for each service: 1. for GP Service and 2. for Urgent Care services.
The estimated core contract value for GP Services will be: £3,822,500. The contract extension will be subject to approval from NHS England internal governance and a review of the delivery and performance of the contract; this would result in the contract value increasing to: £7,480,000.
The estimated core contract value for the Urgent Care Services will be: £3,853,000
It is envisaged that TUPE will apply to the contract. It is essential that interested Providers must be able to demonstrate an ability to mobilise the service to ensure a service commencement date of 1 October 2017.
