Description

This service is for Local authorities to arrange access for Appropriate Adults, whilst children, young people and for those that are vulnerable are detained in custody.
The Appropriate Adult Service is for both young people and vulnerable adults living in Croydon and Sutton, publicly funded. This service is aimed to provide independent support to people being kept in custody, for questioning about a crime or in a related sensitive situation.
The Council intends to establish a contract that will be issued by Croydon Council and will be available to Sutton Council via an access agreement for the full two years with an option to extend for a further one year (2+1). Each authority will be responsible for their own spend under the contract.
This procurement is to establish a single source supplier who is experienced and qualified in the delivery of Appropriate Adults Services. Tenderers can apply by completing the documents via the London Tenders Portal.
