The allergens e-learning course plays an important role in ensuring that FBOs fulfil their responsibility in relation to allergen labelling and allergen management; to support Local Authorities in enforcing allergen legislation and to inform the general public, in particular food allergic consumers, about how they can access allergen information.
It is therefore essential to update the content and improve the user-experience of the training for food businesses, Local Authorities and the public.
